I have more pictures that I can share. If you haven’t already you should read Sosabowski’s memoir “Freely I Served”. I visited Fife in 2015 and France this year 2017 retracing my father’s trajectory from 1939 onward.

I’m guessing the protest would have been around the time of the Victory Celebrations in London on 8 June 1946. Poland were not allowed to join the march and many (including my father) were rightly furious.
