Stormy Weather

… been fairly stormy lately …

… but that didn’t stop me getting out …

… and I quite like a walk in the rain …

… luckily …

My wife and I visited Elie in late April 2015. We were subjected to rain, snow, hail as well as brilliant sunshine, all in the first hour of our having arrived. What was constant during our brief visit, however, was the unceasing wind and cold – you knew you were alive. But what was most amazing was spying three older gentleman, heads down, walking directly into the wind and hail, their golf push carts trailing behind them while trying to get in their requisite number of holes. In that moment I understood that in Scotland golf was a real sport and not for the meek.
HaHa very true re golf. I’ve never really understood the fascination.
All seasons in a day here in Scotland. It keeps you on your toes!!
