Polish Paths to Freedom
… a small exhibition
at the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes …
… the exhibition is dedicated to the Polish I Corps
who were stationed in Scotland between
1940 and 1947 …
… the Corps numbered 3,498 officers
and 10,884 soldiers …
… the exhibition honours Polish soldiers
who trained in Scotland to fight
heroically in the battles of WW2 …
… and all those who supported and assisted
others in those trying times …
… my father was one of those Polish soldiers
who trained at Largo House in Fife
and was a member of the
1st Independent Polish Parachute brigade …
Is this exhibition still on? I have Polish friends who would love to see it.
I think so but you would be best to ring Rothes Halls to check.
