the gardens moved to their current site in 1960
and still has links with the university …
but sadly is under threat of closure

… on a beautiful spring day I went to a walk-talk around the gardens
linked to The Steep Trail exhibition at the local museum …

… the exhibition was inspired by the work of John Muir

“When one tugs at a single thing in nature,
he finds it attached to the rest of the world.”

John Muir
