Kinnoull Tower

Kinnoull Tower is situated on a craggy outcrop on Kinnoull Hill

… a view of Kinnoull Tower from the river ….

… to get a closer look I headed up Kinnoull Hill …

…  the views as you go higher are rather spectacular …

… and again strange creatures are lurking amongst the trees …

… Kinnoull Tower is actually a folly built to imitate the castles on the Rhine …

… it’s dangerously close to the edge …

… a long way down …

… and a wee bit scary standing on the edge on a very very very windy day …
… but that’s the sort of risk you have to take sometimes for a good view …

… looking down the Tay Estuary towards Newburgh …

… and across to the Lomonds …

… I saw the rain was heading my way … but the wind just blew it away …
